'Dahlia:'The Case of Jane Doe IThe third in our series of TRUE CRIME MYSTERIES.
|
Betty Bersinger of 3705 Norton Ave. telephoned police that she had seen what appeared to be a nude body in a vacant lot, revealing the mutilation murder of Elizabeth Short, who would forever be known in the annuls of crime history as "The Black Dahlia." Newspapers would label her killer a "Werewolf" because it was inconceivable in 1947 that a human being could perform such an atrocity on a young girl. To this day, many have postulated on the identity of the Black Dahlia Killer, even suggesting that their own father is the murderer. |
